It’s a reminder of our commitment to rescuing and rehabilitating sloths, as well as preserving the rainforest habitats they call home.

We’re turning up the fun for the 10th Annual Sloth Ironman Games! Each year, sloths from our rehabilitation program participate in a friendly competition, showcasing their unique personalities and capabilities. The Sloth Ironman Games are the perfect combination of fun and purpose, with events that highlight the resilience and charm of sloths while raising critical funds for our Saving Sloths Together Program.

But it’s more than just a day of games—this event is an essential part of our conservation efforts. The Sloth Ironman Games raise funds for the rescue, rehabilitation, and rewilding of sloths, ensuring that they have a second chance at life in the wild.

What is Saving Sloths Together?

In 2017, Toucan Rescue Ranch partnered with The Sloth Institute Costa Rica to create Saving Sloths Together (SST), a nationwide initiative dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rewilding sloths. With years of expertise and a passion for sloth conservation, SST aims to provide sloths with the opportunity to return to their natural habitats and live a life free from harm.
